Greetings to our ever growing family of Route5060 buyers and sellers! A few new features for buyers:

Cap that Call

A few requests came in from buyers who wish to have control over the max duration a call can last. The reasons were mixed but the comfort of this control was important to them.

You can now set a range anywhere from 1 minute to 6 hours. We will simply issue a BYE to both ends if the duration of the call exceeds your cap.

You'll find this on the Origination setup screen.

Control the Roll

When we get a call from a buyer, it is tried against the best match first, if that match fails, we try a second, and third (and so on), until either:

    a) we receive two busy fail codes, then we report the number as busy

    b) we have tried enough sellers to determine that the call will not go through

    c) we hit a rate limit where the next seller is selling for a rate higher than a rate limit you have setup.

We call this "rollover". The goal is for us to connect you if the number is good, even if the first in line fails.

You can now, however, override the max number of rollovers we will do. As a buyer you may want us to *only* try the cheapest route, and if we cannot connect to that route, return a fail code and to not try any further.

This option can be set on the Origination setup screen.

Thanks to all for their feedback.

Route on!
